Formed in 2018 RFL Property Services is a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Free London Group and has embarked on a journey of transformational change in the way estate services are delivered within the NHS and deliver a ground-breaking operating model for services that overcome traditional organisational boundaries and align across the ICS and Provider Alliance for North Central London

We are seeking to appoint an independent chair of the Board with leadership experience in estates and facilities.

Main duties of the job

Role of the chair

providing leadership to the RFLPSL board taking responsibility for the RFLPSL board's development ensuring proper information for the RFLPSL board is provided by the Managing Director (MD) planning and conducting board meetings effectively, alongside the MD getting all directors involved in the RFLPSL board's work and achievement of its objectives ensuring the RFLPSL board focuses on its key tasks engaging the RFLPSL board in assessing and improving its performance overseeing the induction and development of directors supporting the MD in the execution of their leadership role

Strategic consultancy, Capital projects Property services Service Transformation Estates and Facilities Management.

RFLPSL It is a separate company from the Royal Free London Group, with its own board of directors. The RFL is the sole shareholder, therefore any profits/dividends the company makes can be invested directly back into NHS services for the benefit of our patients, and will also help the Royal Free London Group to ensure our infrastructure is of the highest quality.

RFLPS has clients and partners across the NHS and private sector.
