We are looking to recruit a driven, ambitious individual to join ourteam at Skoda York. This is a fabulous opportunity to join a family runbusiness in the AM top 100 and represent one of our fantastic manufacturerpartners. This role comes with a competitive basic salary of £30,000 withan achievable OTE of £60,000.

About you

We are recruiting for an experienced and highly talented Sales managerto join our successful team at Skoda York. Reporting to the Dealer Principal,the main responsibilities will be to control the Sales team with both the NewCar and Used Car Sales activities. You will have responsibility for allbudgeted targets, ensuring that operational standards are achieved and highlevels of customer satisfaction and retention are maintained. The successfulapplicant will play a key role in identifying business opportunities anddeveloping the long-term growth of the dealership, the team and the team.

This individual will be self motivated and able to lead from the front.This person will create and develop a customer service driven environment andculture through regular communication, team building and coaching within theSales Department.

As a Sales Manager, your Key Objectives will be:


To achieve and strive to exceed all targets and sales objectives througha well-developed and motivated sales team.
To manage the training and development of the sales members, developingskills to support improvements in job performance and to aid career advancement.
Delegate responsibilities to appropriate personnel and monitor progressto ensure the task is completed as directed.
To work with the Dealer Principal to formulate policies and proceduresto achieve maximum profitability. Develop strategies, objectivesand action plans to increase business and ensure maximum profitability andvolume sales targets are achieved and exceeded.
Plan, oversee and monitor thecompletion and success of sales campaigns, advertising and promotionalactivities to maximise car and extras sales and also create and maintain apositive and professional image of the retailer.
Analyse current procedures toidentify opportunities for improvement.
Build a strong rapport withfinancial institutions and other relevant businesses.
To maximise sales andprofitability through satisfaction and retention of customers.
Ensure appropriate communicationis sent to all customers to establish long-term marketing dissatisfied customerscalmly, resolve complaints with sensitivity, and involve others when needed.

Your working hours will be as follows:

Your normal working hours are between to , Monday toFriday. to on a Saturday and on a Sunday.

You will work on a shift pattern to cover the hours required to operatethe business. This equates to an average of hour week over a 4 weekperiod.
