Are you an experienced and motivated individual looking for a rewarding leadership role within Adult Social Care? West Berkshire Council is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to join our dynamic and supportive team, reporting to the Locality Manager.

As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality social care services to our local community. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of dedicated professionals, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure the best outcomes for service users.

Key responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care and support Act as a point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, fostering positive working relationships Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives Monitor and maintain compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures Support the Locality Manager in the overall management of the service

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

Occupational Therapist qualification Previous experience in a similar leadership role within Adult Social Care Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of individuals Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise and delegate effectively A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a genuine commitment to making a positive difference in people's lives
