About the Role


 

As a skilled web professional, you will immediately build websites for our Lancet journals. You will integrate curated content from editors and others and incorporate it in a visually appealing way on our websites.
 

Responsibilities
 

Using a web content management system or text editor, create and update journal homepages and ancillary pages within guidelines. Integrating new designs into existing websites Reviewing workflows, suggesting improvements, and leading or participating in improvements Creating and modifying templates Working with stakeholders to create and maintain web journal websites and resolve problems


Requirements
 

Experience with HTML5 and CSS including the ability to create and modify as necessary Be knowledgeable with web content management systems Experience with audio, video, and graphics content Experience of responsive website design Be a good communicator, including the ability to translate requests to user-friendly web pages Be familiar with publishing and production-related fields
