An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Salisbury Specialist Palliative care Services as a Hospice at Home administrator. 

The Hospice at Home administrator will work alongside the clinical team to ensure a smooth running of the Hospice at Home Service. 

We are looking for the perfect candidate to work 22.5 hours per week (0.6WTE) in our Hospice at Home team

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the Hospice at Home administrator are:

Providing all administrative and system support functions, ensuring clinical colleagues are able to work within their role appropriately.  Work alongside the H@H team leader to ensure that staff complete mandatory training as well as promoting and organising H@H team education and training.  Work alongside the H@H team leader to organise induction training for new starters within the team.  Processing of referrals to the H@H team in a timely manner to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of the service.  Accurate record keeping including clinical decisions made in keeping with plans of H@H team leader.  Assist in coordination of yearly appraisals. Timely handling of all enquiries into the H@H service and escalation to the H@H team leader.

Essential criteria

NVQ 3 in administration or equal relevant experience GCSE Standard grade C or above in English/equivalent qualification RSA I and II Word Processing/ ECDL or equivalent experience

Experience

2 Years working in an Administration Role Good knowledge and experience of IT systems such as Microsoft office
