KHR is working with a leading manufacturer ofbespoke products servicing a global customer base; who is lookingfor a motivated, confident and client-orientated EstimatingAssistant to join the team.

The EstimatingAssistant will play a crucial role in the sales team, ensuring thatthe business secures all works tendered for; and successfullymanages the order process from start to finish, acting as the pointof contact for internal and externalparties.

Roles andResponsibilities

- Acknowledging receipt oftender enquiries
- Log the tender return date ensuringapplications are submitted on time
- Ensuring thatdetails of the project are correct to make sure orders can beprocessed in a timely manner
- Obtain and update thedetails of the project/client
- Send sales materials andsamples to the relevant project contact (Architect orDesigner)
- Raise a Request For Information or TenderClarification Request so that you can mark up the drawingsaccurately
- Build and maintain relationships with theQuantity Surveyors and Contractors
- Oversee the orderprocess
- Obtain a receipt of orders
- Workclosely with sales and sample-making teams

Candidate Profile

-Solid knowledge of order processing and cost estimation
-Experience in managing tender enquiries
- The ability tounderstand interpret and understand technical drawings
-Previous experience working in/with construction, architecture,engineering, fit-out etc
- Excellent communication skillsat all levels
- You must be energetic with a willingnessto learn and develop
- High attention to detail, highlyorganised
