Purpose of Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join maintenance team dedicated to the UCL campus in Stratford.

Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer would be responsible for undertaking fault-finding and reactive breakdown repairs to building services systems and infrastructure as well as rectifying hot/cold issues by adjusting BMS systems. In addition, they will complete jobs on Steam Plant, Medical Gas, Plumbing , Chillers, Chiller beams and other mechanical assets (belts, motors, valves etc). They will will be comfortable engaging with stakeholders providing them fault diagnostics where necessary.

Essential Qualifications/Skills

?Strong communication skills
?Strong maintenance and faulting finding experience
?Time-Served or degree in Mechanical Engineering
?Experience of working in Education or Healthcare would be desirable
?Knowledge of steam plant, medical gas, gas, AHU’s and HIU’s
?Comfortable using a handheld PDA/Mobile and compliant with paperwork
