Are you an energetic and enthusiastic individual with a passion for sports and physical education?
GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Sports Coach to join our client school in Chesterfield and inspire students to develop their skills and a love for physical activity.
Job Summary: As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality sports coaching to students, promoting teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition. You will work with students of various ages and abilities, helping them improve their physical fitness, skills, and confidence through engaging and structured coaching sessions.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging coaching sessions for various sports, tailored to the needs and abilities of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and teamwork among students.
- Monitor student progress in sports and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Support students in developing their skills, sportsmanship, and understanding of game rules.
- Assist in organising and leading extracurricular sports activities, competitions, and events.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate physical education into the overall curriculum.
- Promote a healthy and active lifestyle among students, encouraging lifelong participation in sports.
- Passion for sports and physical education.
- Experience in coaching or working with children in a sports environment is highly preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best in sports.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
