Our well-known client are seeking an experienced Administrator to work on a temporary assignment. This Paisley based opportunity is full time at 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday and offers a pay rate of £12.58 per hour.

Job Purpose:
As Administrator, you will provide administrative support to the Business and Enterprise team covering all aspects of the department including commercial, development funding, community planning and international.

Successful candidates will require a PVG for working with children.

Responsibilities:
  • To process routine correspondence e.g. memos, letters, notes, spreadsheets, databases, etc, and carry out all general administrative tasks
  • To liaise with a variety of internal and external customers and deal with routine enquiries to the office on a day to day basis
  • To photocopy, fax and distribute documents as required
  • To update and maintain electronic diaries
  • To ensure all administration is complete to agreed timescales and standards
  • To support the efficient organisation and administration of conferencing events
  • To open and deal with incoming mail and to distribute any outgoing mail from office
  • To ensure maintenance of records and databases in line with Business & Enterprise activities
  • To assist with the organisation, planning and co-ordination of specific external promotional events and to attend those events
  • To assist in the welcoming and induction of new international students and visitors to the college
  • To provide an internal point of contact for prospective clients
  • To provide administrative support across Business & Enterprise activities as required

Requirements:
  • Recent administrative experience within a multi-functional environment
  • SCQF Level 7 (HNC or SVQ 3) in a business related subject
  • Experience of working on own initiative
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills and well-developed presentation skills
  • Ability to carry out administrative tasks effectively and accurately
  • Proficient in the use of all MS Office software
