About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager /ETM to predominantly assist the Southern Regional Projects team, this role will cover the Sussex/Kent and Wessex areas. The successful candidate will be based at our Three Bridges office.

What you'll be doing

Interface between the Construction Manager and construction activities on site. Prepare Task Briefings. Attend meeting as required for Safe Planning and Delivery of works within possessions, including sub-contractor progress meetings / Safety meetings. Undertake PGI / Safety inspections. Undertake briefings on planned works to Subcontractors. Undertake submission of daily shift reports Safety Leadership on site, contributing to the wider programme safety targets and culture. Compliance with safe systems of work on site. Report errors or omissions in a timely and diligent manner through shift reports. Ensure all personnel under your control are fully briefed and work in a safe manner. Follow plans to achieve planned outcomes within possessions. Develop and maintain strong Client and Stakeholder relationships.

Who we're looking for

Proven experience in managing ETM works on railway infrastructure projects. BCC01 and DCC02 Certification (essential). Strong knowledge and understanding of isolation reviews. Good knowledge of conductor rail installation and standards, DC positive and negative cable installation, and working to Network Rail and Balfour Beatty standards. Good knowledge of rackout procedures. Knowledge of high-voltage cable systems. Ability to plan for the removal and reinstatement of all electrical assets affected by the works. Ability to order and manage subcontract suppliers to complete the scope of works. Strong reporting skills. Capable of working independently to deliver work on-site, including undertaking site surveys. Conscientious, proactive team player.
