Solar PV Site Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar PV Site Supervisor to join our team at Optima Site Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of commercial PV projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise site operations on commercial PV projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Actively manage Health & Safety on site, conducting daily safety briefs and maintaining accurate records.
  • Mobilise and demobilise sites, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and up-to-date.
  • Assist the project manager with final project sign-off, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Conduct daily site inspections, identifying and addressing any potential issues or risks.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in rooftop solar PV deployment in a commercial environment.
  • Supervision experience in a construction environment, with a strong understanding of site documentation and risk management.
  • Relevant experience within the renewable energy sector, with a good working knowledge of various site documentation.
  • Full driving license and ability to work away from home when required.
Desirable:
  • 18th edition certification.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS qualification.
