Solar PV Site Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar PV Site Supervisor to join our team at Optima Site Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of commercial PV projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage commercial PV site installations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Actively manage Health & Safety on site, conducting daily safety briefs and ensuring all necessary paperwork is maintained.
  • Mobilise and demobilise sites, assisting the project manager with final project sign off.
  • Assist with the management of site documentation, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and project snag list management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of rooftop solar PV deployment in a commercial environment.
  • Supervision experience in a construction environment, with a strong understanding of site management principles.
  • Relevant experience within the renewable energy sector, with a good working knowledge of site documentation.
  • Full driving license and ability to work away from home when required.
Desirable:
  • 18th edition qualification.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS certification.
