  • Construction Manager Accountable for all Civil Works andassociated financial control via Scheduling (time) SP/ASP andQuality Management on a given project.
  • Ensure that all Service Providers areadhering to Client standards processes and procedures as well asall Federal and Local standards.
  • Identifies continuous improvementopportunities.
  • Interfaces with External Interfaces: ASP/SP Customer PM
  • Internal Interfaces:IM Lead Project Admin Project Sponsor CPM
Responsibilities Include
  • Assessand control charges to the agreed site design
  • Assures that:
    • Only Customers approved materialsare installed on the project
    • The agreed Civil Works guidelines and schedules arefollowed and enforced.
  • Attend coordination and progressmeetings
  • Awarenessand onsite supervision during where risk of disturbances incustomer site performance is high.
  • Check that the working environment ismaintained at an acceptable level carry out safety inspections andensure that tools etc. are in good working condition.
  • Civil Works problem solving asrequired during the project.
  • Coordinates site activities and assures that alldisciplines directly involved in the project are in phase with theProject goals and objectives.
  • Drive schedule activities and troubleshooting results.
  • Ensure that:
    • Service Providers andvendors/suppliers meet all the technical specifications withrespect to E/// and customer specifications.
    • Workmanship quality of theinstallations done by the Service Providers is within the ContractClient standards and Customer expectations.
    • All Client Federal Local andcustomer safety guidelines and construction procedures are enforcedduring the entire Civil Works phase of the project.
  • Knowledgein workers safety and work environment safety.
  • Perform:
    • Site preinspections and coordinatepostconstruction audits.
    • Site verification.
    • Visual inspection of quality on site.
  • Preparesregular interval progress reports as required by the project
  • Provide accuratestatus information on the progress to project management.
  • Provide technicalassistance to the Service Providers and any other suppliers thatprovide services associated with the Civil Works activities.
  • Reject wrongdeliveries of material to site.
  • Report bad performance and quality on site.
  • Responsible for the properinterpretation and compliance of the civil design plans.
  • Supervise coordinateand monitor works with the Service Providers and other disciplinesthat have an interface with the Civil Works part of the project.
  • Team leadershipfocusing on quality and results.
  • Write claims order and return materials.
  • Maintain and updateconstructionspecific areas of Site Handler including but notlimited to the following:
    • SOW and preconstruction documents (NTP SOW RFDS safetyguidance QA standards etc)
    • NTP receipt verification o RFDS submission review andchanges
    • Civilsacceptance documents submission receipt review and approval
    • Civils progress PFAverification (daily)
    • Close out document review and acceptance sign offConstruction Manager 1 CM1 Has GOOD knowledge and skills.
  • IDENTIFIES and SOLVES defined problems that requirelittle or no analysis by using existing procedures techniques andmethods.
  • UNDERSTANDSthe necessity for improvement and change.
  • REQUIRES SUPERVISION and works within a givenframework and time schedule
  • Experience/Qualification Level Minimum of 12 years ofexperiance:
    • Jobrelated experience with project builds of over 100sites
