Ecolab is seeking a Lab Technician t o provide quality control / assurance support with respect to the companies activities.

What You Will Do:

Routine testing to ensure bulk chemical analysis is conducted in a timely manner ensuring no waiting time for the packaging department. Investigating and reporting deviations / defects minimizing delay and losses and verifying that any resulting corrective actions are implemented to prevent re-occurrences. Maintaining and updating paperwork associated with laboratory activities ensuring smooth running of QC functions; . specifications, methods and production documents. Releasing all incoming raw materials using SAP following COA checks. General tidiness of the laboratory to ensure compliance with 5S standards. Maintaining lab equipment, glassware and laboratory chemical stocks ensuring no delays in testing.

What You'll Need:

Experience working in a lab environment, chemical industry experience is a plus Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Practical understanding of chemistry is a plus Previous knowledge of SAP is a benefit Understanding of Health and Safety requirements in a Laboratory area
