Ecolab is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to provide quality control and assurance support for the company's activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine testing to ensure bulk chemical analysis is completed in a timely manner, minimizing waiting time for the packaging department.
  • Investigate and report deviations or defects, implementing corrective actions to prevent re-occurrences.
  • Maintain and update paperwork associated with laboratory activities, ensuring smooth operation of QC functions.
  • Release all incoming raw materials using SAP, following COA checks.
  • Ensure general tidiness of the laboratory, adhering to 5S standards.
  • Maintain lab equipment, glassware, and laboratory chemical stocks, preventing delays in testing.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a lab environment, with chemical industry experience preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Practical understanding of chemistry is a plus.
  • Previous knowledge of SAP is beneficial.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety requirements in a Laboratory area.
