Laboratory Technician

Ecolab is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to provide quality control and assurance support for the company's activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine testing to ensure bulk chemical analysis is completed in a timely manner, minimizing waiting time for the packaging department.
- Investigate and report deviations or defects, implementing corrective actions to prevent re-occurrences.
- Maintain and update paperwork associated with laboratory activities, ensuring smooth operation of QC functions.
- Release all incoming raw materials using SAP, following COA checks.
- Ensure general tidiness of the laboratory, adhering to 5S standards.
- Maintain lab equipment, glassware, and laboratory chemical stocks, preventing delays in testing.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a lab environment, with chemical industry experience preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Practical understanding of chemistry is a plus.
- Previous knowledge of SAP is beneficial.
- Understanding of Health and Safety requirements in a Laboratory area.
