The Purchasing Manager is responsible for ensuring optimum inventory levels by analysing sales data and accurately forecasting demand. They will be confident at working with numbers and data plus experienced in raising purchase orders for both new SKUs and replenishment stock. They will have a good understanding of working with external suppliers and managing the purchasing side of the supply chain.
Requirements Core responsibilities include:
Key skills required:
At least 3 years of experience working in a purchasing role or similar Line management (1 direct report) Great at analysing data and numbers (Grade B in Maths or above at GCSE) Proficient at Microsoft Excel Meticulous attention to detail Highly organised Good commercial awareness Confident in dealing with suppliers Understanding of subscriptions desirable but not essential Experience with dealing with multiple warehouses preferred Salary: DoE
