Purchase Ledger Support Specialist

**About the Job**
As a Finance and Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team at Lush Manufacturing. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely recording of invoices, processing them onto the paperless office approval system, and verifying pricing.

Job Description**
The successful candidate will have 2-3 years experience in a finance role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures. They will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities**
- Record, process, and verify invoices in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier accounts, send payment remits as required, and reconcile statements.
- Prepare and submit weekly payment runs (GBP and multi-currency).
- Process proforma payments, chase final invoices, manage supplier communications via email and internal colleague interactions.
- Answer coding and document queries raised by the team on both POs and S&A payments.
- Monitor and report on Aged Creditor and GRNI balances.
- Amend access, create new users on the paperless system, and answer user queries.
- Process credit card receipt submissions, assist Credit Card users with queries and changes needed.
- Prepare, pay, and reconcile expense claims.
- Process intercompany purchase invoices, raise queries where needed, and analyze financial transactions for specific accounts as part of the month-end closing process.
