Job summary

At Care Fertility youll get involved in the full range of lab duties,such as oocyte collections, sperm preparation and freezing, inseminations andICSI, fertilisation and embryo assessments, embryo freezing and transfer, andoocyte freezing dependent on level of training. You can even get involved inbiopsy if youre trained.

Youd be joining a great clinic, with a great team around you. Werevery collaborative and open to your suggestions for protocol improvement. Care TunbridgeWells undertakes many complex cases, including PGT-A and social oocyte freezingand performs around 450 fresh and 400 frozen treatment cycles annually.

About you:

Youre astate registered and ICSI trained clinical scientist. If youre biopsy trainedthen great But thats not essential though. What is essential is that yourean Embryologist who understands their importance in delivering a qualitypatient experience.

This is a full-time role working between 08:00-16:00 from Mon-Fri (with weekend work on a rota). Based at our Tunbridge Wells clinic (Amberley House, 9 Queen's Road, TN4 9LL).

Role accountabilities and duties:Clinical dutiesEnsure the highest standard of patient care at all times.Ensure security and confidentiality in the embryology laboratory.Perform all routine embryological duties. These including: Semen analysis Sperm preparation Sperm cryopreservation and thawing Oocyte collection Fertilisation checking Embryo grading Embryo transfer Oocyte and embryo cryopreservation Oocyte and embryo thawing ICSI Embryo biopsyAssist in maintaining the Diagnostic Semen Analysis service to UKAS standardsMaintain accurate records of all clinical activities performed.Maintain accurate records of cryopreserved gametes and embryos.Assist in the organisation of laboratory data collection.Location: Care Tunbridge WellsAs a Clinical Scientist in Embryology you will perform a range of routine embryological dutiesincluding ICSI and embryo biopsy.
