One to One Tutor

We have immediate start referrals for tutors able to provide face to face tuition for vulnerable pupils in Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas. We are looking for a tutor who can support for a minimum of 10 hours per week (flexible) with a view to increase if needed.
As a 1:1 tutor you will need to plan, develop and provide individualised programmes for students.
The ideal candidate for this LAC Tutor role would have:
- Tutor experienced working students with SEMH challenges
- Able to implement baseline assessments to assess where the student is currently working at
- Confident to work professionally with residential staff, Social Workers and other Local Authority professionals
- Able to deliver engaging, innovative lessons to help keep students engaged in their education
- Able to offer emotional support to vulnerable children where required, acting as a positive role model
- Committed to the education of this vulnerable young person.

- Online classroom platform- to enable you to deliver online tuition to students in a virtual environment. This platform offers all the tools you will require to deliver online tuition and is recorded for safeguarding purposes and for revision purposes.
- Hourly rate of £25- £30 which is paid weekly.
- Access to free safeguarding and CPD courses as well as free access to assessment tools and resources.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
