Educational Support Worker


Location: Enfield
Salary: £84 - £110 per day
Hours: Full-time / Part-time positions available

The Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Educational Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff members to support the learning and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
  • Support students with personal care needs, where necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers to adapt and deliver lesson plans
  • Monitor and record students’ progress and provide feedback to the teaching team
  • Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all students

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN, is highly desirable
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s education and development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are an advantage but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
