We are delighted to be recruiting for the role of Fraud and Visiting Officer, a key role in the Service Strategy and Improvement Team within the Revenues, Benefits and Welfare Service.

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council issues and collects council tax and business rates from around 90,000 households and 5,700 businesses every year to fund the delivery of its services across the borough. The Revenues, Benefits and Welfare Service supports the most financially vulnerable of the borough’s residents, administering a wide range of welfare support schemes.

In this role, you will be assisting with the verification of evidence and the prevention of fraud and error in respect of service wide functions. You will also be supporting the work of the service by undertaking visits to properties and locations around the Borough.
