To build on our success, we are looking for a Senior Change Manager to join our infrastructure team located at the Lower Thames Crossing site office where Skanska will be supporting National Highways to develop this project. The Lower Thames Crossing is a proposed new road connecting Kent and Essex through the UK’s longest road tunnel. It is designed to tackle congestion at the 60-year-old Dartford Crossing, make journeys across the region safer and more reliable.
As the Senior Change Manager, your responsibility is to successfully manage contract change ensuring that Skanska’s position is protected and maximised.
You will:
Set, monitor and manage the change management philosophy in accordance with the project’s commercial strategy ensuring it adequately covers design change, scope variation, instruction and programme change. Monitor and manage the process for value generation and recovery through contract change mechanisms ensuring that Skanska’s position is maximised. Set strategy for overcoming contract change issues/disagreements/risks and implement. Understand and contribute to commercial strategy that sets challenging financial targets that achieve the best-case gross project margin and manage procurement procedures. Undertake line management responsibilities for direct report staff. Maintain all records and input as required as per internal procedures.We’re looking for:
Experience working on large projects £200m+. Good working knowledge of contract/commercial law. Experience with NEC forms of contract. MRICS or CICES desirable. Degree or equivalent in commercial related subject. Someone who can lead a team effectively and pursue own professional development. This opportunity requires legal right to work in the UK.
