We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their dynamic teams.
The Role:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering planned learning activities to groups or whole classes in the absence of the teacher.
- Assisting in the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons.
- Supporting individual pupils or small groups to help them achieve their learning goals.
- Assisting with the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff to create a positive and effective learning environment.
- Providing pastoral care and support to pupils as needed.
Requirements:
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the varying needs of the school.
