Gregory Distribution Ltd, have an amazing opportunity for an Operational Compliance Supervisor to work within the Operational Compliance team supporting the Head of Operational Compliance in maintaining and continuously improving operational compliance within the Group.

The position involves:

Being an integral part of the Gregory team helping to promote the Gregory Way and support the businesses primary Purpose, through supporting and developing the Group’s Compliance strategy. Supporting the business in achieving the Group Objectives. Managing the day to day administration of the Group’s O Licences. Supporting the business in dealing with, Road Traffic Offences, Parking Charge Notices, and Fixed Penalty Notices. Supporting the business by managing the groups subcontractor approval process and ensuring that the subcontractor database is maintained in line with Group requirements. Being responsible for maintaining all Vehicle V5s, taxing of vehicles and keeping the Insurance MID up to date. Be Responsible for Maintaining the Working Time, Workforce Agreement database Working with the business to ensure DfT National Statistics Offices Annual Surveys are completed and retuned. Managing the Group Accounts for Clean Air Zones, London Borough Transport Scheme, Congestion Charges, Ultra Low Emission Zone, toll accounts. Supporting the business by maintaining the Groups ‘Thorough Examinations’ of fixed lifting equipment (Loading Docks and People Lifts, etc.) with the nominated supplier. Provide monthly KPI’s to The Head of Operational Compliance and the Board. Supporting the Head of Operational Compliance in implementing any relevant regulation changes and best practice. Supporting ways to make Group’s business activities safer and more sustainable. Supporting the Group to be Carbon Neutral by by understanding alternative fuels and other industry trends.

Essential skills required:

Experience of working within a Operational Compliance role within a similar industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and internal stakeholders. Strong strategic focus and continuous improvement experience. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively. Working to deadlines. Solution driven and Flexible approach to your work. Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative. MS packages to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Desirable skills required:

Transport Manager CPC.

Salary of £35,pa to £38,pa, depending on experience. Contracted hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00. Due to the nature of this role, this may vary occasionally.
