The post is part time/full time.
The candidate will be working strictly in accordance with specific Practice guidelines and protocols. The HCA will assist the clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.
Main duties of the job
To support the Practice nursing team in the delivery of nursing services, delivering care within their scope of Practice to the entitled population. The HCA will deliver and assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education.
Duties include
Phlebotomy Wound care ECG's B12 Removal of sutures and clips Health checks Pre diabetic checks 24 hour ABPM monitoring

Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
Good time management and ability to work to deadlines. Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Ability to work independently. Ability to record accurate clinical notes. Qualified to a minimum level 2 in Health and social care. Maths and English GCSE A-C.
Desirable
Knowledge of EMIS clinical system. Competent in the use of Office and outlook.
Experience
Essential
Experience of working within a Health Care setting as an experienced HCA. Computer literate. Excellent up to date clinical knowledge.

Experience of working in Primary Care
