Job Description

About the role:

We are looking for a skilled professional with a proven track record in successfully supporting HR system transformations for a 9-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of HR systems/processes, strong stakeholder and project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

Transitioning HR systems: Supporting the transition of HR systems - Oracle HCM to Workday. Payroll system changes etc. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with HR leaders, Digital teams, and other business stakeholders on transition of systems. Identifying downstream impact: Working with colleagues in the Digital Enterprise team to identify impacts/changes to other system/processes as part of the transition. Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed to support on possible data migration or other technical activities required. Support with technical changes/enhancements: Working with Abcam’s system integration and support partners on changes/enhancement.

About you - Competencies, Skills, Knowledge:

A good understanding of Workday and Oracle HCM General understanding of the HR Domain and other systems in that space Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders at different levels of seniority Ability to distil and effectively manage information Able to work both in a team (as member and/or leader) and independently, to deliver results Good attention to detail and an ability to analyse and use data in decision making. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities Experience identifying, diagnosing and resolving issues independently; will take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances Ability to convey ideas and recommendations in a clear, compelling and succinct way in written and verbal communications Fluent written and spoken English

Qualifications

A Degree in a Digital background would be beneficial but not essential, we are keen to see solid skills and experience.
