Great Yarmouth Adult Community Mental Health Services are looking to recruit a conscientious, calm and confident individual to become part of the well established administration team.

The team are based at Northgate Hospital in Great Yarmouth and provide adult mental health treatment in the community.

This role is hours per week (Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm) and you will be supporting the existing admin team as well as the wider clinical team.

Main duties of the job

You must possess excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to confidently and sensitively deal with telephone calls from individuals who may sometimes be distressed or upset.

You will need to be able to demonstrate the strength of your communication, prioritisation and administration skills at the same time as showcasing your knowledge of IT systems. You will be able to evidence a flexible response to service needs and the ability to think creatively.

Experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintaining confidentiality are also essential.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

Supporting Clinicians to maintain electronic patient records Answering telephone calls Booking appointments Typing of letters Maintaining and monitoring waiting lists / data reports
