Bank On-boarding Support Officer

 

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank On-boarding support to join our Resourcing Team at The London Clinic, based at our main hospital site in London (W1G 6BW). We are offering an hourly salary of £15.00/hour.

 

Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest private hospitals, with 8 state-of-the-art facilities, and circa 1350 employees where we are dedicated to providing our patients with expert, individualised treatment and care. Our main hospital spans 8 floors comprising of 150+ patient beds and 10 operating theatres, including a Hybrid theatre and two minimally invasive/day surgery theatres. Speciality areas include, General surgery; ENT; Gynaecology; Hepatobiliary; Neuro-spinal; Ophthalmic; Orthopaedic; Plastic and reconstructive; Robotic; Urology; Vascular & Weight loss surgery (bariatric surgery).

 

Job Profile

 

The Bank On-boarding support will be responsible for the smooth recruitment process of candidates who are in the pre-employment pipeline before starting work at The London Clinic.

 

  • Job Type: This is a part-time, Bank role.
  • Shift Pattern: We can offer a flexible shift pattern, covering the core hours of 08:00-17:30, Monday to Friday.
  • Job Location: 1 Park Square West, London NW1 4LJ (Close to Regents Park/Baker St tube stations).
  • Salary: £15/hour 

 

Key Duties

 

  • Accountable for supporting the compliance team with pre-employment checking process for Bank new starters, including references, occupational health clearance, DBS disclosure and right to work checks as well as any other requirement as stipulated by The London Clinic.
  • Providing a friendly, proactive and supportive service to each respective candidate / new joiner during their compliance process and actively working to minimise the risk of disengaging candidates during this time.
  • Help oversee the training compliance for all new Bank starters to ensure that candidates progress in a timely manner, coordinating with the Clinic’s Learning and Development team where necessary and providing data for reporting on weekly basis.
  • Seek to continuously improve the quality and value of the service which includes ownership of the Bank On-boarding and Compliance Excel Tracker, as well as providing weekly update reports.

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • RGN / ODP qualified practitioner (NMC or HCPC registration).
  • Proven experience in recovery and/or intensive care setting.
  • Understanding of the post-operative needs of patients.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and flexibly as part of a team.
  • Highly motivated individual who is Punctual, adaptable and continually maintains a professional image.
