We're looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Manager to oversee the design, deployment, and optimisation of our cloud services. In this critical role, you'll manage a team of talented engineers and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure, supporting the organisation as it grows and evolves.

As part of the group driving and supporting our cloud strategy, you'll be responsible for managing cloud environments across our Azure platforms, bringing knowledge and experience of AWS or Google Cloud. All while ensuring seamless integration, cost efficiency, and automation. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the infrastructure aligns with business objectives and can support our digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities include overseeing cloud architecture, implementing best practices for security and governance, and optimising performance. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation tools, and emerging technologies, this is the role for you. We're looking for someone with a passion for innovation, a commitment to excellence, and the vision to drive the future of our cloud operations.

This includes Microsoft 365, Azure and managing the deployment of virtual servers, storage systems, databases, middleware components, and other cloud infrastructure components, ensuring alignment with NHS standards and industry best practices.

In addition to strategic planning, you will provide leadership and direction to a team of cloud server and platform specialists. Your role will involve mentoring team members, fostering a culture of excellence, and promoting professional development to enhance the capabilities and effectiveness of the team.

As Manager, Cloud Platforms, you will also be responsible for managing resources, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure the efficient and effective operation of cloud server and platform services. Your leadership, strategic vision, and technical expertise will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to patients and communities within the NCA.
