GSL Education is working with a Special Needs school in Plymouth who are seeking additional support from Teaching Assistants. The school caters for children with Special needs from EYFS- KS5. All children have EHCPs and additional needs including Autism, ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, Severe learning difficulties, physical needs, visual and/or hearing impairments and an array of complex needs.
GSL Education are seeking those with previous SEN Teaching Assistant or those with good transferrable skills e.g. Support or Care work.
Personal Care may be required.
Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Plymouth
Salary: £83.33 per day
Start Date: September 2024
Type of work: Short term supply, part or full-time, longer-term roles available.
Requirements:
- Experienced candidates will be preferred.
- Driving license holders with access to a vehicle will be given priority.
- Communication skills are essential.
