New or Recent Graduate Vet – Haygate Vet Centre, Telford - New   Graduate   Programme - Small Animal Vet

Are you a New or Recent Graduate Vet looking to join a highly motivated and supportive team that is dedicated to delivering the best possible clinical care to patients? If so we may be the practice for you… 

Key practice facts: 

11 vet practice, including 2 Surgery, 1 Medicine, 1 Cardiology and 1 Diagnostic imaging certificate holders 4 branch practice across the Telford area Great equipment (Digital X-ray, High spec ultrasound machine, Video Endoscopy, bloods gas & endocrinology lab machines, multiparameter monitoring machine, dedicated orthopaedic theatre, bair huggers and dental X-ray) Full-time position would involve a 40-hour week over 4 days, with 2 hours a week attributed to Saturdays, which is either a 1:4 Saturday, or a 1:5 slightly longer Saturday Night team working out of the main branch, offering seamless handover, and accurate finish times Dedicated inpatient vet each day Experienced and Supportive RVN's and Nursing team. 2 Trained GDP advisers No call centres, real receptionists in the building dedicated to front of house. Weekly vet meetings to discuss cases and new products Work closely with multiple charities Located near the Shropshire AONB

Paid onboarding phase which includes a Residential if joining as a 1st year new graduate. All UK travel, accommodation and subsistence costs for the Residential will be covered by CVS Starting salary of £35, which increases at the end of year 1 and at the end of year 2.  No financial tie-in beyond completion of the programme. Professional memberships (RCVS & VDS). Up to 7 weeks annual leave plus Bank Holidays (or equivalent) with our Buy/Sell holiday scheme - allowing you to purchase an additional two weeks of annual leave Receive an extra days leave each year in your first 5 years at CVS 10 CPD days a year covering both clinical and non-clinical skills and tailored to your clinical role.
