What it's like to work here

You’ll be a part of the Land Use and Public Benefit team, within Nature & Science which is part of the Land & Nature directorate. We work with colleagues in regions, countries and properties across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and support them to make changes to our land to benefit people and nature.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.

Please be aware that occasionally, you will need to travel nationally (with some overnight stays).

What you'll be doing

You’ll support several workstreams within our programme to accelerate nature delivery, working to the Programme Manager and with people in a variety of roles across properties, regions and countries and central teams.

You'll also be responsible for supporting work on common land, and for keeping track of and enabling the efficient prioritisation of work led by a variety of teams all aimed at enhancing the management of our land to benefit people and nature.

You’ll responsible for driving your own workload, keeping up momentum and effectively communicating with all interested parties.
