What is the point of this role?

We have an exciting new opportunity for an Internal Systems Administrator to come join our internal IT team. You will support and assist the Internal IT team with maintaining the ANS internal cloud and on-premises infrastructure. You will also be expected to contribute to ensuring that the Internal infrastructure is kept secure and meets all relevant certifications i.e. ISO27001, PCI-DSS & Cyber Essentials. You will also be expected to contribute extensively to projects that require the Internal Systems team and become a key contact for the business from a technical standpoint.

Being part of the Internal Systems team, you will be a point of escalation for the Internal Support team and assist with any ticket escalations and also be expected to contribute totraining members of the Internal Support team as part of continual development.

What will I be doing?

Ensure excellent service standards and maintain high client (user) satisfaction.Record all incidents/requests on the ITSM platform.Deal with escalated issues from the Internal Support team and management.Take ownership of requests assigned to you and manage them through to resolution.Train other members of the Internal IT team.Writing and maintaining guides/technical documentation for new and updatedsoftware/processes and systems.Available for on-call out of hours support.Assisting with the implementation and continual improvement of IT systems and fulfilling IT Projecttasks as directed by the Internal Systems Security Lead or Transformation department.Patch management – ensure all Internal systems and applications are secure and receivepatches according to ANS patch management policy.Participate in the ANS Change Advisory board meetings.Participation in Audits supporting the ANS Compliance team.

What will I bring to the role?

Must-have skills and experience

Established knowledge of modern Windows (desktop and server) operating systems and alsofamiliar with MacOS operating systems.Competent knowledge of iOS and Android operating systems.Good working knowledge of on-premise and Azure Active Directory.Good working knowledge of Group Policy management and Microsoft Intune.Established knowledge of Microsoft 365 infrastructure including Exchange Online, SharePointand Teams.Good working knowledge of IT helpdesk service processes, SLAs/KPIs.Working within a team and the ability to also work independently.Technical understanding of current leading technologies and industry terminology.Good working knowledge of ITAM principles and registers of software and equipment.
