Position Description:

We're looking for an Executive Assistant to support one of our three sector leaders within our busy Central Government Business Unit comprising of over CGI members based in offices and client sites across the UK. This role can be worked remotely or on a hybrid working basis. There will be some travel to various CGI offices (likely London and Liverpool predominately) a couple of times a month and other locations from time to time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Your role will be to support on of our Sector Leads to help them efficiently and effectively lead their Sector.
Day to day duties will include;
1. Extensive diary management involving client appointments, internal team meetings and project meetings, including collating reports where required;
2. Maintaining strong relationships with other assistants (both with clients and across CGI) to provide optimal diary management for Sector Leads;
3. Supporting Sector Leads in administrative tasks to execute business in a timely manner (deadline management) including producing formal correspondence;
4. Liaising with other support teams to progress internal matters and resolve issues;
5. Liaising with Sector Leadership Teams and members on behalf of the Sector Leads;
6. Attending meetings, where required, and recording minutes and actions
7. Booking business travel including flights, transportation, and lodgings as required
8. Involvement with event organisation where required

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

You’ll need to have demonstrable successful experience of working in a similar role supporting senior executives. You will also ideally;
• Demonstrate the ability to interact and operate at a senior level;
• Be highly organised, driven and a self-starter;
• Have strong time/workload management with the ability to work at pace and juggle multiple priorities;
• Have proven organisational skills
• Be able to quickly pick up knowledge and understanding of CGI tools and systems
