About the role
The Dental Nurse will be responsible for the organisation and preparation of CPD facilities for all the varied programmed courses on a day-to-day basis within the unit. They will assist the Eastman Clinical Investigation Skills Manager with the day-to-day running of all facilities within the unit and maintenance of all Clinical Skills Rooms for courses running on a day-to-day basis.
The postholder will also provide chairside assistance and nursing care for all clinically led courses, Implant, Endodontics and varied Short Courses and report to the Senior Dental Nurse.
This appointment is subject to:
• Full registration with the General Dental Council as a Dental Nurse.
• Pre-employment health screening assessment
• Disclosure and Barring Service assessment
• Eligible for Honorary Appointment with NHS (usually UCLH NHS Trust)
About you
The postholder must have the following:
• Qualified Dental Nurse
• Registered with the General Dental Council as a Dental Nurse (or be eligible to register).
• National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) Qualification (Diploma in Dental Nursing or equivalent) or equivalent Hospital Qualification
• Knowledge in Health & Safety, Cross Infection and CQC Guidelines.
