About the role

Come and join our team We are looking for a dedicated and tech-savvy HR Information & Systems Officer to join our Human Resources & Payroll Service. This role is key in maintaining and developing our integrated HR & Payroll system to support the Council’s strategic objectives. The role involves:


  • System development & maintenance: working with the team to ensure optimal performance through regular upgrades, troubleshooting and developments.
  • Data management: extract, analyse and interpret HR data to inform decision-making and improve HR services.
  • Process improvement: contribute to the implementation of system enhancements and new functionality, leveraging technology to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • User support: provide technical support and training to system users, ensuring they can fully utilise the system’s capabilities.


About you

We want you to have a passion for technology with a keen interest in system development and maintenance. Experience of data extraction, presentation and analysis is good, along with an understanding of payroll activities and structure maintenance within in integrated system. We have a diverse system user base, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to support and train is a must.
