Job summary
There is an exciting opportunity to join the paediatric nursing team at Cambridge University Hospital (CUH) as a Paediatric Apheresis Clinical Nurse Specialist. This role is within the paediatric service and will be supported by both paediatrics and the existing Apheresis team based at CUH. This role will support the newly commissioned paediatric Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Service and will be responsible for all children and young people who require apheresis as part of their care.
Children's services at CUH cares for both the local population as well as those children and young people who require tertiary care from across the East of England. The unit has multiple in-patient ward and outpatient services as well as paediatric and neonatal intensive care units and a critical care transport team. CUH is the tertiary centre for children and young people with a wide range of conditions including oncology, haematology and neurology. This role will support Children's Services as we move into the future here at CUH with the development of Cambridge Children's Hospital.
