The post holder will be a critical part of the PCIC Medicines Management and Community Pharmacy team. Accountable to the Lead Pharmacist PCIC.

This is an opportunity for a self-motivated, well-organised, proactive and innovative individual to work within the Medicines Management and Community Pharmacy team.

The post holder will provide personal assistant services to the Lead Pharmacist PCIC and Team Lead Pharmacists.

The post holder will support the Medicines Management and Community Pharmacy team across a range of functions, including providing thorough and efficient secretarial support to the senior medicines management and community pharmacy team and general administrative support to the members of the medicines management and community pharmacy team.

The post holder will be required to assist the Primary Care Contract Support Manager to support delivery and monitoring of the Community Pharmacy contract.

To provide administrative functions to monitor delivery of the Home oxygen contract. To act as webmaster for the Medicines Management and Community Pharmacy team including being responsible for the creation and maintenance of the prescribing and community pharmacy pages on the GP portal sharepoint page and internet website.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to fill this post. This is a permanent, challenging and exciting role within the PCIC clinical board.

Main duties of the job

To provide comprehensive personal assistant service to the Lead Pharmacist PCIC and Team Lead Pharmacists.

To be responsible for and to provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Medicines Management and Community Pharmacy Team across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan localities in an efficient and effective professional manner

To support safe and effective pharmaceutical services from Community Pharmacy in Cardiff & Vale by developing and maintaining comprehensive data regarding contract delivery and management.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
