Main duties of the job

The role we have on offer is a rotational position and will involve working within the Main Dispensary, Stores & Distribution, Procurement and on the wards.

Within the Dispensary, you will dispense prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients, as well as greeting patients and staff at our reception.

Within Stores & Distribution, you will receive goods from suppliers and load our robot. You will also be responsible for the supply of stock items to Wards and Departments within our Hospital.

Working alongside other members of the pharmacy team on the ward, ensuring timely supply of medication to expedite patient discharge.

Previous Pharmacy experience is desirable but not necessary, as training will be given in all aspects of the job, including use of the computer system. This position is for Full time employment.

You will also be expected to attain the NVQ Level 2 within 12 months of taking up the post.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
