Purpose of the Role:
As an Electromechanical Assembly Technician, you will follow predefined manufacturing processes to deliver high-quality box build products. Overtime during peak periods will be essential to meet customer deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support production teams in manufacturing activities.
- Perform and prepare build, test, or inspection activities before and during product manufacturing.
- Deliver production requirements by adhering to established instructions and processes.
- Provide electronics assembly inspection support.
- Maintain manufacturing documentation to ensure traceability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and strive for zero defects in line with ISO9001 quality management standards.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Strong GCSE grades or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Proficient hand soldering skills, adhering to IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-610 & IPC-7711/7721 (Class 3).
- Understanding of industry standards and regulations to ensure safe operation of machinery and equipment.
- General experience in box build manufacturing processes.
- Proven proficiency in a range of processes through job-related training and on-the-job experience.
- Basic PC skills with good time management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail to maintain high production standards and efficiency.
- Ability to actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Familiarity with working in high-technology environments.
