The role

The School of Humanities is seeking to recruit a Senior Student Administrator to join a large and vibrant education team on a fixed-term, part-time basis.
The roleholder would be required to take responsibility for specific areas of administration which support the student admin-related processes within the School and supervise the work of the Education Team in specific delegated areas.
The roleholder will be required to act as deputy to the Student Administration Manager (SAM) and Deputy SAM, and support them in the overall student administration for the School.


What will you be doing?

In particular, this role will have specific responsibility in supporting the education administration process for our History and History of Art programmes. The roleholder will:
- Support all undergraduate and postgraduate activities within their team.
- Supervise the work of the student administrators within their team.
- Support wider student-facing admin team activity as required.
- Be a point of contact for complex student queries and responding appropriately.
- Liaise with academic colleagues on a regular basis to provide guidance and support on processes.
