Who’s the business

Zanda is partnering with a rapidly growing International B2B SaaS business based in London, that has recently secured Series B funding. Having experienced significant growth the COO is looking for an interim Head of Finance who can support the business and own the finance strategy whilst they hire a permanent finance lead.

As Interim Head of Finance, you will be reporting to the COO and play a critical role in managing a small team, running the day to day finance whilst shaping and driving the business’s financial strategy. The business is fully remote, with flexible working method and hours.

What experiences you will gain

  • Developing and overseeing policies and procedures for accounting, tax, audit, treasury, reporting and budgeting
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports, risk analysis and financial models
  • Supporting the commercial team on modelling and pricing
  • Developing and updating the company valuations, cap table and supporting with due diligence for M&A transactions and future fundraising processes
  • Supporting the management team with commercial and financial matters
  • Implementing cashflow management and exchange strategies across the group
  • Supporting the company through the first audit of the group

What background should you have before you press apply

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Available on short notice
  • Experience within a high growth, VC backed start up
  • Tech background desirable, ideally SAAS
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and financial regulations
  • Ability to provide strategic advice and guidance to senior management
