Job description

Job responsibilities

Loyd House – Located near the picturesque Abington Park in Northamptonshire, Loyd House offers specialist rehabilitation and management of neurological conditions. Our multidisciplinary team (MDT) supports 17 residents, with a four-bedroom transitional living unit for those moving towards more independent living. The proximity to local shops and the park provides residents with ample social, occupational, and educational opportunities, making it an ideal setting for neurorehabilitation.

Christchurch View – Close to Loyd House, Christchurch View provides a pathway from post-acute rehabilitation to specialist community-based transitional rehabilitation for up to 18 adults. We are dedicated to making every person we support feel safe, happy, and empowered, helping them live their best life possible.

Kingly Terrace – Set in a detached period property in Rushden, Northamptonshire, Kingly Terrace is rated “Outstanding” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We provide exceptional support for 12 adults with acquired brain injury or neurological conditions. Our team’s compassionate, person-centred care focuses on developing therapeutic relationships, supporting residents’ recovery preferences, needs, and aspirations.

Park House – Situated adjacent to Bedford Park, Park House offers specialist neurological rehabilitation, support, and care for 14 residents. We focus on person-centred, evidence-based rehabilitation care plans to maximise independence and recovery, with easy access to the park’s lush surroundings and recreational opportunities.

Kingly House & Kingly Croft – Located in Leicestershire, our highly trained team supports a total of 23 residents across both services, helping them develop skills and gain independence. Kingly House has 17 bedrooms, while Kingly Croft is a small-by-design service focusing on the rehabilitation goals of up to six residents.

As a Speech and Language Therapist within our team, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, intervention, and support to our residents. Your expertise will contribute to the holistic care approach we offer, ensuring that individuals receive comprehensive support tailored to their unique needs.

If you are passionate about making a difference and thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment, we encourage you to apply and join us in our mission to help our residents lead their best lives

What you'll be working:

Our standard working hours are hours per week, Monday to Friday, and these will be split between the sites as follows:

1 day at Kingly Terrace, 1 day at Kingly House/Croft, 2 days at Park House, and ad-hoc cover at Loyd House & Christchurch View depending on service need. However, we understand the importance of a positive work-life balance, and therefore, if you require some flexibility to better suit your personal or professional needs, we encourage you to discuss this with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences where possible.
