Ensuring proper accounting in compliance with legal and internal guidelines to ensure correct monthly, quarterly and annual submissions in accordance with US GAAP and local accounting requirements Will be responsible for providing insight, analysis, and commentary on balance sheet performance, aiming to influence and drive decisions that improve the balance sheet position. Responsible for the timely preparation of month end JDE accounts for UK and subsidiaries. Build a strong understanding of finance systems especially JDE and international accounting standards Help financial accountant with inventory reconciliation and clean up Liaise directly with auditors to respond to audit queries in a timely and accurate manner. Preparation of the USGaap balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Provide commentary on variances verses prior year, investigate discrepancies and rectify in timely manner Continuous Improvement, actively reviewing internal processes with a view to continually improving them, identifying areas for optimisation Supporting the accounting manager with monthly and adhoc tasks as required

What we ask

Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA) or studying towards accounting qualification Advanced Excel skills, macro knowledge will be advantageous Experience using different IT systems
