About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our team at Absolute Recruit. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely management accounts for our group of companies.
  • ERP Implementation: Assist with the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Financial Policy Development: Develop and enforce new financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis and reporting, with a particular focus on sales performance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Financial Planning: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Support: Support the finance team in daily operations and ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Management Accountant, preferably within a fast-paced, acquisitional environment.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • ERP Experience: Experience with ERP systems implementation and change management.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Qualifications: Studying relevant accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is highly desirable.
