We are recruiting for a FM Services Officer to join our busy FM team at HMP Dovegate is a Category B adult male facility near Uttoxeter, Staffordshire where we care for up to 0male adult prisoners over the age of serving a range of sentences including trial, remand, those awaiting sentence and convicted men serving long and short-term sentences. A large part of this role is painting and decorating across the site however as part of the team you will support with system reactive and preventative maintenance, additional works to all aspects of security systems, fire detection, life safety equipment and any other equipment within your capacities.

You will work as part of a close-knit team and deliver on accountabilities including;

Advise the Line Manager of the progress on the contract Participate and comply with material ordering and procurement procedures Assist in multi trade support of other members of the FM service team in completing work

What you'll need to do the job

Although working as part of the wider FM Team, you will work autonomously to carry our works at times so you must enjoy working independently and have a flexible attitude to getting stuck in and delivering where required
