The Role:

We are seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant eager to build a career in finance. This role involves:

  • Preparing and posting month-end journals for balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.
  • Posting monthly additions to asset ledger and fixed asset register accounts.
  • Running depreciation calculations and reconciling the fixed asset register to ledgers.
  • Calculating and posting IFRS 16 lease depreciation, interest, modifications, and additions.
  • Drafting statutory accounts for Group companies.
  • Preparing source information for tax computations.
  • Supporting year-end budget preparation and certain accounts.
  • Assisting the Financial Accountants as needed

Skills You Need:

  • ACCA part qualified with a view to complete the qualification
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proven stakeholder management
  • A key team player, whilst also able to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to juggle multiple requests and demands and prioritise accordingly.
