Requirements for the Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) role:
  • You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN)
  • Valid UK NMC Pin
  • Clear DBS.


About the Nursing Home:
Based in the village of Ewerby, just four miles east of Sleaford, Lincolnshire, the care home offers palliative, nursing, and all levels of residential and dementia care, with comfort and friendship. Respite care can also be offered if a vacancy arises.
Having originally been a vicarage, it retains many beautiful features, i t is set in extensive grounds and is within walking distance of the church and a pub.
Staff respect and are sensitive to individual needs, wishes and choices of all residents. Staff welcome all residents and their families and friends who wish to be involved in making the home a better place to live.

Essential Requirements
  • Relevant Professional qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse)
  • Live within 30 minutes of the Home.
  • Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning
  • IT literate
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure

The role of a Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) within the Nursing Home involves:
  • Ensuring the care, welfare and safety of all residents is maintained at the highest possible standard.
  • Completing physical/psychological assessments of new residents on admission.
  • Creating individualised care plans for residents.
  • Updating care plans daily.
  • Safely administering and recording of medication.
  • Liaising effectively with external suppliers and health care providers.
  • Monitoring and developing performance of care staff.
  • Ensuring effective rotas are in place.
  • Use a person-centred approach to ensure every individual's needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity, and respect.
