A bit about the job:

The Senior Manager & Certification Regime (SMCR) was introduced for insurers in 2018 and for all other firms in 2019 by the PRA and FCA. The Individual Accountability Framework (IAF) which encompasses the Senior Executives Accountability Regime (SEAR) launched in Ireland July 2024 and enhanced the existing Fitness and Probity Regime (F&P Regime) to more aligned to SMCR. Aviva has a large number of regulated entities which are subject to these regimes. The Individual Accountability Regime Office is Aviva’s ‘Centre of Excellence’ for individual accountability providing the business with support and expertise to manage compliance for all applicable individual accountability regimes across the Aviva Group namely IAF and SMCR.

This role within the IAR Office will align to Ireland and the Conduct Rules and will support the Heads of and Managers of the IAR Office with IAF/SMCR regulatory requirements, processes, controls, and reporting. A key element of the role with be regulatory due diligence to support entrance to in scope roles and/or applications to the applicable regulator.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Financial services experience preferably in the regulatory environment .

A successful record of building and maintaining stakeholder relationships and team working.

The ability to work in an environment of change and respond proactively as priorities / requirements change. This should include being comfortable working at pace across several businesses and priorities.

An effective communicator, both verbal and written including presentation skills and the being IT proficient/able to adapt to systems use.

Strong attention to detail and an ability to work in a methodical manner.

Salary £30000 to £35,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
