Pharmacy Assistant

Position Overview:

The East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook is inviting applications for the position of Pharmacy Assistant to join our dynamic team. Under the close supervision of a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in various aspects of Pharmacy Department Operations. Your responsibilities will include packaging and distributing unit dose medications, inventory control, statistical reporting activities, and clerical functions. Additionally, you'll provide exceptional customer service by answering telephones, assisting at the dispensary counter, and issuing medication orders in accordance with established procedures.
Casual Employment Opportunities:
Embrace flexibility with casual day shift positions, offering a range from 0 to 37.5 hours per week. Joining us in a casual role opens doors to internal postings, providing the opportunity to apply for permanent part-time or full-time positions.
